Mine workers, of Hugh Masekela, shared by Patricia Abrahams Hendricks

Mine workers

There is a train that comes from Namibia and Malawi
there is a train that comes from Zambia and Zimbabwe,
There is a train that comes from Angola and Mozambique,
From Lesotho, from Botswana, from Swaziland,
From all the hinterland of Southern and Central Africa.
This train carries young and old, African men
Who are conscripted to come and work on contract
In the golden mineral mines of Johannesburg
And its surrounding metropolis, sixteen hours or more a day
For almost no pay.

Deep, deep, deep down in the belly of the earth
When they are digging and drilling that shiny mighty evasive stone,
Or when they dish that mish mesh mush food
into their iron plates with the iron shank.
Or when they sit in their stinking, funky, filthy,
Flea-ridden barracks and hostels.

They think about the loved ones they may never see again Because they might have already been forcibly removed
From where they last left them
Or wantonly murdered in the dead of night
By roving, marauding gangs of no particular origin,
We are told. they think about their lands, their herds
That were taken away from them
With a gun, bomb, teargas and the cannon.
And when they hear that Choo-Choo train
They always curse, curse the coal train,
The coal train that brought them to Johannesburg.

Diversity said it all.

Control the food supply, and you control the people.

Large numbers of people, are killed to scare others that might share the sympathy of a better live and future. People are removed from natural resource competition in many ways, such as we experience FIFA during 2010.

The longer you kept the people in a state of ignorance, they will not realize that their own governments are their worst enemies. These governments help to keep the cost of living rising, while they make you believe something else. Poverty are growing faster then ever and this create a bigger vacuum between the have it all and the have nothing.

Skills learning are on purpose created, that only a hand few will benefit. Only a hand few will receive bursaries to pursue their careers. 90% and more of the final year secondary pupils will end up without a job. That is why the only true form of wealth are inside skills.

Some people will never accept you for who you are. No matter whether you Disable, African or Asian, hostile environments will always be there. We will always be people with a different education culture, religion culture, race culture or a gender culture. Meaning there is no harm in being diverse.

Make money when you are young

Networking has become extremely important do develop business concepts in a typical multi-day.
Business building societies has become closer over the last twenty years, though industries has been growing bigger. On the other hand, step-by-step training has accelerate business growth radically.

Many techniques has made live easier when building businesses. Yet we need to understand these models and have the know-how to apply it. Though it is support and help, that keep businesses growing bigger and faster.

Invest today, for a better tomorrow.

It is small teams that delivers better performance. Thanks to the Internet, the landscape of business building and development has changed. Gone are the days that we could compete with prices of products only.

Product quality and service delivery on time are a few things that add to better business deals. This does not mean there is less competition in the world of business.

Business is all about principles of right and wrong, and a behaviour considered morally correct. Principles before personalities. It is these basic standards that create the foundation for business ethics.

People in developing countries have the opportunity, to trade or sell their goods globally at a fair price. You have a free choice to use this opportunity of creating better markets.

Evaluate your decisions and be consistent with your moral principles and we might be soon in business.

My suggestion is to act locally and think globally. In using the global markets, we can narrow the gab in equality of income. In this way, we become more responsible members in our communities and society at large.

There are many incentives that are largely unused today, due to a lack in honesty, truthfulness and fair marketing. Loyalty to customers and employees honours a good spirit and make business more interesting.

Everybody in live looking towards good business practice. We have today the opportunity to give the big price cartels a run for their money. The solution is simple, small and medium enterprises need to Network and making business more attractive to the customers or consumers at large. In this way, we give a blow to the price fixing cartels.

Out of one business, more businesses can be created, but we have to start with one single business. Remember, your goods locally have a total new value abroad. Be rational in terms of thinking and act logical, this will certainly earn and secure business abroad and vice versa. Let us merge our qualities and start business across borders.

I don't run the show

My life would be meaningless without my friends, the silent ones and those driven by curiosity.

Today I am full of gratitude, for all the lessons I've learned, I am stilling learning to be humble but steadfast. This has never been easy though I somehow managed to do it properly correct.

A special thanks to all of you carring people. You gave me back a sense of belonging. Some times it is through understanding each others views and opinions, some times through wrong understanding.
